Teach Your Kids About Money

I was lucky enough to have a family that discussed money… but even with that head start, I still have so much to learn. Have you ever wondered how you’re going to teach your kids the basics of money — saving, spending, investing — when there are still gaps in your own financial literacy?

We all feel it sometimes — unequipped, uncertain, and a little worried about the financial climate. The rising costs, the unpredictability, the “am I doing this right?” moments.
Questions like:

  • How much should we really be saving vs spending?
  • Should I pay off debt first or invest?
  • Is saving money actually saving in the long run?
  • How do I explain investing to my child without confusing them?
  • How do I talk about money without stressing everyone out?

What I love about MoneyTime the most is that we can work through it with our kids and learn alongside them. It’s not just for them—it’s a chance for us to strengthen our own understanding too.

Each year, we’re lucky to invite Neil Edmond into the membership to help families navigate this tricky but vital area. My own daughter will be working through the MoneyTime program next year, and I can’t wait to see her confidence grow.
